2026 Bookish Goals

I don’t think I really made any 2025 book goals besides my 50 book yearly goal, which I did hit. This year I wanted to make goals that were feasible but would also stretch me out of my comfort zone. So, here are my 2026 bookish goals.

Read 50 Books

Read 50 Books — I like setting this one low, so reading doesn’t ever become stressful)

Prioritize Black, Chronically ill/disabled, asexual/aromantic, indie

Read intentionally — This year I want to make sure I’m prioritizing Black, chronically ill/disabled, asexual/aromantic, and indie books.

Spend 10 min daily engaging on SM

It’s really easy for me to come on Instagram and scroll for a few seconds and call it a day. I want to make sure I’m actually engaging with and supporting the people I follow, so I want to engage for at least ten minutes daily.

Join a book club

Join a Book Club — This is one that’s a stretch because I enjoy my introverted, never leaving the house ways. But this is the year of trying new things and being in community.

Attend more local book events

Attend More Local Book Events — I love supporting indie bookstores, but most of the time, I’m going to events in Decatur, which is a real drive. I want to attend more events at bookstores closer to me.

Book more author interviews

Book More Author Interviews — Getting to talk to authors about their writing is so fun, so I want to get back to creating more interviews for my blog, especially ones with my clients.
