May Reading Wrap-up
It’s the beginning of June, which means it’s time for my May Reading Wrap-up. May was an extremely busy month filled with several book events, my birthday, and Black Romance Book Festival, so my reading definitely suffered. I had an amazing month though, so I’m not mad about it one bit.

Three of the books I read were client books, and as mentioned in previous wrap-ups, the client books aren’t counted in the page count, ratings, or genre breakdown on StoryGraph. The other three books were in my May TBR. So out of the 9 books in my TBR, I only got to three of them. That’s not terrible, but I definitely could have done better. I’m happy that I still managed to finish a nonfiction book since I’m trying to read more of those.
In May, I also hit my yearly reading goal!!! I wanted to read 50 books, and as of writing this, I’m at 55 books. I don’t want to let my foot off the gas this year, so it would be really cool if I could manage 100 this year, but I’m not going to stress about it.
Considering how low this month was for reading, I don’t have a lot of analysis or insight to take away from my stats, but if you’d like to read my reviews for the books I did read, you can check them out here: If I Could Go Back ; Get Real, Chloe Torres ; Kiss Me, Maybe.
