I’m Alexia, and I want to help you get your story into the best shape possible! I’ve been beta and sensitivity reading since 2021 and have worked with over 250 clients on traditionally published, indie published, and personal projects.
As a bookstagrammer, book blogger, and writer with a voracious reading appetite, I’m very in tune with the current market and genre conventions.
My beta and sensitivity reading style includes giving a mixture of praise and suggestions. I’ll let you know what you’re doing well, while also pointing out areas I think can be smoothed out for the reader. If you want an honest reaction to your writing and actionable feedback, I’m the right choice.

Writing outside of your own experience and culture?
While a sensitivity reading won’t guarantee your writing is inoffensive, it can illuminate places in your writing that might include stereotypes, offensive language, or inaccurate generalizations and help you write more authentic and fleshed out characters. I can read the entire project or applicable excerpts.

Sign on the dotted line
After you’ve read through this page, click book now, which will take you to a questionnaire to fill out. I’ll respond within 24 hours. Once the specifics are confirmed, I’ll send you a contract and invoice through Square, so you can see all the terms outlined and pay for your service.

The adventure begins
Once the contract is signed, you’ll receive a form to attach or link your document. Then I’ll begin! If you have any questions or concerns during the process, feel free to reach out through email.

Continued support
After I’ve returned everything to you, you’ll have access to ask me any questions that come up during the rest of your writing/publishing process for this project. I’ll also send a brief questionnaire to learn how your experience working with me went.
